Private Credit Analyst/Associate

Pearse Partners' client, a global investment platform, is hiring a Private Credit Analyst/Associate to join its Private Credit team. The role supports investing across a flexible mandate in middle-market situations, focusing on structuring-driven, risk-adjusted returns.

You will gain exposure to the full investment process from underwriting and execution through ongoing portfolio management, working closely with senior investors in a lean team.

• Evaluate and underwrite private credit investment opportunities across various structures and industries.
• Lead diligence workstreams with sponsors, management teams, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Build and analyze detailed financial models; assess value drivers, downside scenarios, and capital structures.
• Prepare investment materials and contribute to investment committee discussions.
• Develop differentiated investment views through fundamental analysis and data-driven research.
• Support execution and ongoing monitoring of portfolio investments.

• Ability to evaluate and underwrite private credit investments across multiple structures (unitranche, second lien, mezzanine, holdco financings, preferred equity).
• Experience or capability in leading due diligence workstreams with external and internal stakeholders.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including downside and capital structure analysis.
• Ability to prepare investment committee materials and contribute to investment discussions.
• Strong fundamental analysis and data-driven research skills to form investment views.
