Summary
Web Scribble is seeking a Product Owner / Business Analyst to join their product development team. You will transform product strategy into actionable work for the engineering team while ensuring smooth delivery flow. This role is ideal for someone combining strong analytical thinking with practical execution skills and developer collaboration.
What you'll do
Backlog & Flow Management
- Own and maintain a shared Kanban backlog
- Break down features into clear user stories
- Define detailed acceptance criteria
- Ensure stories meet ready criteria before development
- Manage WIP limits together with the team
Requirements & Analysis
- Work closely with Product Manager and Customer Support to identify client problems and design solutions
- Clarify business requirements and edge cases for the development team
- Model business processes and workflows and update product documentation
- Define data structures and business rules with Development Leads
- Collaborate with QA on test scenarios and expected results
- Validate delivered functionality against requirements
Delivery Support
- Provide daily clarifications to development team and customer success
- Lead grooming and estimation sessions
- Track lead time and cycle time metrics
- Manage release coordination, planning, documentation and communication
- Perform monthly retrospective meetings
Collaboration
- Work with Product Manager and stakeholders to understand priorities and business context
- Coordinate with Customer Support to ensure client requests are completed on time
- Daily collaboration with developers, QA, and stakeholders
- Identify risks and provide mitigation plans
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+ years experience as BA / PO or similar role in product teams of 10+ persons
- Upper intermediate English language level
- Strong experience with Jira, Notion, Miro, and Slack
- Basic technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Ability to create UML and Flow diagrams
- Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Remote-first environment experience
- Experience in Kanban or Agile environments as PO
- Analytical mindset and attention to details
- Ability to manage multiple products and priorities
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible work approach with excellent time management
- Experience with AI tools in daily activities
