Summary
Marc Jacobs is seeking a Graphic Designer to shape and execute the brand’s visual language across marketing, digital, social, retail, CRM, and media. The role translates high-level creative vision into modern, emotionally resonant design systems and assets across every consumer touchpoint.
What you'll do
- Design and execute creative for digital advertising, emails/CRM, social media, web and e-commerce, retail graphics, presentations, and brand decks.
- Support seasonal campaigns, product drops, collaborations, and cultural moments.
- Translate creative direction into precise, elevated design systems; maintain and evolve brand typography, layout standards, and overall graphic language.
- Own layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy across deliverables.
- Build modular design systems that scale across channels while ensuring brand consistency.
- Operate across fast-turn projects and long-lead campaign work.
- Continuously source inspiration from fashion, contemporary art, photography, music, film, street culture, and digital subcultures; bring fresh references and unexpected visual ideas.
- Use AI tools for concept exploration, image generation, iteration/ideation, and workflow acceleration while maintaining craft quality.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Creative/Art Direction, Social & Content, E-commerce, Merchandising, and Retail; give and receive feedback with clarity and rigor.
Requirements
- 4–8+ years of professional graphic design experience.
- Background in luxury fashion, premium lifestyle, or cultural brands.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Fluency in Figma (or equivalent digital layout tools).
- Strong understanding of digital-first design, e-commerce visuals, and social-native formats.
- Working knowledge of AI-powered creative tools for image, layout, and ideation.
- Portfolio demonstrating elevated taste, fashion authority, conceptual thinking, impeccable craft, and cultural relevance.
Conditions
Location: Based in New York City (SoHo) headquarters.
Compensation range: $65,000–$75,000 annually (offer dependent on skills and experience).
