Middle/Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Next Solutions is seeking a Middle/Senior QA Engineer to ensure quality for a comprehensive financial accounting system serving the Swiss market. The role involves both manual and automation testing for a complex platform with desktop (Windows) and web applications, requiring critical thinking and deep understanding of business workflows.

• Perform manual testing of new features and existing functionality
• Design and maintain test cases, checklists, and test scenarios
• Investigate issues deeply and provide clear bug reports
• Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and edge cases
• Help improve QA processes
• Contribute to automation where it makes sense

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in software testing (QA)
• Strong understanding of manual testing techniques
• Ability to work with complex systems and business logic
• Experience with API testing
• Good written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently in a remote team (CET timezone)

Nice to have:

• Experience with test automation
• Understanding of accounting or financial systems
• Experience testing desktop applications (Windows) and web applications
• Experience with integration-heavy systems (APIs, external services)

Remote position requiring CET timezone availability. Stack includes Postman for API testing, TestComplete for UI automation, and xUnit for backend/unit-level testing.
