Senior Business Analyst/Proxy Product Owner

Sigma Software is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Proxy Product Owner to strengthen their internal Data Platform. This role combines classic business analysis with hands-on data work, requiring extensive experience in data-driven projects, DWH development, and BI reporting.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize business requirements aligned with strategic objectives
• Work with product owners, development teams, QA engineers, and designers to ensure clear implementation of requirements
• Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify improvement areas and propose solutions
• Create detailed documentation including process flows, user stories, and other requirement artifacts
• Evaluate and reconcile information from multiple sources, distinguish user requests from real needs
• Develop and maintain BI dashboards and analytical reports using Apache Superset, Power BI, or Tableau
• Create report prototypes and analytical visualizations independently
• Contribute to automation, standardization, and optimization of reporting processes
• Conduct demo sessions and prepare user documentation for solution adoption

• 3-4 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst on data-intensive projects with BI solutions and data platform development
• Confident SQL skills and solid understanding of data modeling principles
• Practical experience with BI tools (Superset, Power BI, preferably Tableau)
• Experience building and presenting dashboards
• Strong understanding of iterative ways of working, especially Scrum
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
• Plus: Experience in end-to-end Data Warehouse/SSA layer development from scratch
• Plus: Experience building BI prototypes or POCs independently
• Proactive mindset with ability to dive deep into complex problems
• Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Results-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication
