Image Signal Processing Developer

Sii Ukraine, a subsidiary of Sii Poland and leader in IT and engineering services, is seeking an experienced Image Signal Processing Developer for a Polish microdrone manufacturer. The role focuses on systems for unmanned aerial vehicles, specializing in digital stabilization and image quality enhancement on NVIDIA Jetson platforms.

MIPI CSI Camera Integration:

• Create and modify drivers for MIPI cameras
• Debug MIPI connections and diagnose synchronization issues
• Calibrate and configure image sensors
• Optimize data capture and transfer pipelines

Image Processing:

• Implement image signal processing using SDKs (NVIDIA Jetson Multimedia API, VPI, VisionWorks, OpenCV)
• Design and implement custom image processing algorithms
• Execute denoising, edge detection, dynamic range compression, and color correction tasks
• Prepare images/video for AI model processing

Jetson Application Development:

• Develop applications on NVIDIA Jetson Nano/Orin NX
• Optimize performance using GPU, CUDA, NVENC, NVDEC
• Work with low-level system functions and GStreamer pipelines

Linux Development:

• Develop and optimize in Linux environments
• Write bash scripts and automate system tasks
• Debug and profile using standard Linux tools

• Experience with MIPI CSI interface and V4L2 subdev driver development
• Practical knowledge of Jetson platforms (Nano, Xavier NX, Orin NX) and NVIDIA ecosystem
• Knowledge of image processing libraries: OpenCV, NVIDIA VPI, GStreamer
• Custom image processing function development in C/C++ with hardware acceleration
• Strong Linux expertise for embedded system optimization
• Ability to analyze and solve complex hardware-software problems independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with AI model deployment (TensorRT) and custom Linux distributions
• Familiarity with image simulation and CV testing tools
• Preferred: Open source projects or UAS/UAV industry experience
