Summary
Authentic Brands Group is a global lifestyle and entertainment brand platform and the world’s largest sports and entertainment licensing company. The Regional President, LATAM will lead regional strategy and operations, owning P&L performance while expanding the brand portfolio through licensing and retail/wholesale partnerships. This role drives growth, builds a regional pipeline, and ensures strong execution across partners and internal teams.
What you'll do
- Lead the LATAM lifestyle and entertainment business strategy, including planning, revenue forecasting, and business analysis.
- Own overall LATAM P&L responsibility, including business development goals, existing royalty streams, marketing execution, and administrative cost standards.
- Manage and grow the LATAM team (brand, business development, marketing), including talent acquisition, development, retention, and performance management.
- Develop and implement business plans to accelerate business development and increase regional awareness of the brand portfolio.
- Position brands competitively by monitoring competitors, industry trends, and market changes; take proactive actions to sustain brand/product strength.
- Partner with licensees to create and deliver action plans across product initiatives, wholesale/retail distribution, and digital/social marketing.
- Collaborate with digital ecommerce and marketplace teams to build local strategies with retailers and platforms.
- Build a new-business pipeline and incorporate regional and category nuances into the sales strategy.
- Take a hands-on role in business development for key new licensees/partners, leveraging a regional network to source meetings, drive sales activity, and close deals.
- Own licensee relationships by training/developing partners and ensuring compliance with agreement standards.
- Monitor licensee performance and proactively resolve contractual and operational issues.
- Oversee daily LATAM operations, including supporting accounts receivable and collections activities.
- Manage office/business expenses against budget and adjust to achieve P&L goals.
- Facilitate communication between the LATAM team and corporate, ensuring alignment with corporate initiatives and direction.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in brand development and licensing within fashion, retail, and/or celebrity/entertainment sectors.
- Established network of contacts and strong relationships across the LATAM licensing, wholesale, and retail ecosystem.
- Deep understanding of LATAM retail and consumer markets with demonstrated success driving revenue.
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
- Proven leadership of both business results and people management, ideally across multiple countries.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability in fast-paced, performance-driven, entrepreneurial environments.
