What you'll do
- Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing priorities and goals for assigned product
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales
- Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities
- Communicate product vision, status updates, and key decisions to ensure alignment
- Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback, and iterate on products to improve user experience
- Develop go-to-market strategies with marketing, sales, and support teams
- Support sales team in winning new opportunities and participating in customer meetings
- Oversee product line work, ensuring consistency in strategy and execution across teams
- Facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts within and across departments
Requirements
- Exceptional academic results at high school and university
- Understanding of Linux and open source software community
- Understanding of computer architecture, application development, datacenters, cloud or devices
- Passion for writing about technologies and tech landscape
- Strong work ethic with personal interests aligned with open source movement
- Curiosity and continuous learning habits
- Strong sense of ownership and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Product management experience in software industry (for senior positions)
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining focus on key priorities
- Demonstrated leadership in aligning diverse teams and driving consensus
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 4 times yearly for company events
