Summary
A technology consultancy founded in 2015 helps construction owners use cloud-based tools and data effectively by improving interoperability across teams and systems. The People Operations Specialist will own and optimize employee lifecycle operations and HR systems to ensure accurate data, automated workflows, and smooth transitions across the organization.
What you'll do
- Manage and continuously improve employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, role changes, transfers, compensation updates, offboarding).
- Coordinate with People & Talent, IT, Finance, and Operations to ensure consistent execution of lifecycle stages.
- Partner with IT to align software provisioning and access management with organizational structure and compliance needs.
- Serve as the operational owner of Rippling, ensuring data accuracy, workflow design, and platform configuration.
- Define, document, and enforce core people movement workflows across teams.
- Design and optimize integrations/workflows between Rippling and systems such as Slack, Toggl, Salesforce, Notion, and Xero.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual work using tools like Zapier, n8n, or Google Cloud.
- Maintain accurate organizational and reporting structures; support standardized reporting for headcount planning and compensation.
- Act as the operational liaison between People & Talent, IT, and Operations to improve people-related workflows.
- Own and improve documentation standards for people operations processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HRIS, Business Operations, or a similar cross-functional operational role.
- Experience administering or optimizing Rippling, ADP, BambooHR, or comparable HR tools.
- Proven experience supporting employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, role changes, compensation updates, benefits cycles, performance reviews).
- Experience in a growing or scaling organization with evolving systems and processes.
- Strong process orientation and data skills; ability to simplify complex workflows into scalable systems.
