Manager, Financial & Sales Planning
Summary
LVMH Beauty (LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics) is hiring a Manager, Financial & Sales Planning to support Make Up For Ever and Acqua Di Parma in North America. The role partners with Finance and Sales to deliver reporting, insights, forecasting, and process optimization that improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end weekly and monthly sales reporting for the US and Canada, distributing insights to local teams and headquarters.
- Analyze and present sales performance by channel, product category, and new launches; identify trends, drivers, and growth opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Sales to monitor key retail locations and help establish relevant sales targets.
- Prepare and analyze sales forecasts by channel and product category in collaboration with Sales.
- Deliver ad-hoc sales analyses to support business needs.
- Lead the monthly financial close process, coordinating with Accounting and delivering financial reporting and analysis to headquarters.
- Track and manage operational expenses with local teams, supporting financial oversight and cost-control initiatives.
- Support financial forecasting and budget cycles with commercial and marketing teams, including analysis, presentations, and reporting to headquarters.
- Lead ad-hoc projects and analyses, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement improvements to reporting and planning processes, emphasizing optimization and automation using advanced Excel solutions and analytical tools.
- Use Power BI to streamline data workflows and improve reporting efficiency and insight generation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to refine processes and recommend best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
7+ years of experience in a similar position.
Proven ownership of key reporting processes and ability to deliver actionable insights.
Advanced Excel proficiency and strong data management skills.
Power BI experience; Anaplan or AX experience is a plus.
Experience in process improvement, automation, or operational optimization projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
Hands-on, organized, rigorous, detail-oriented, and data-driven.
Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication; effective stakeholder partnering including senior management.
Interest or experience in the beauty industry is a plus.
Conditions
Salary guideline range: $115,000–$125,000 per year (company may pay outside the range).
Reports to: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.
Supports Make Up For Ever and Acqua Di Parma; scope includes US and Canada markets.
