Program Manager, Litigation

The Program Manager, Litigation role provides program management and paralegal support to the Protection, Competition, and Defense team, with primary emphasis on litigation operations. The purpose of the role is to manage litigation workflows, tools, outside counsel coordination, and reporting to help deliver timely, organized legal outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Manage and update active litigation matters in docket tracking software (LawVu).
  • Identify custodians and draft/send/manage legal hold notices under attorney supervision.
  • Locate and collect corporate documents and platform information needed for litigation.
  • Support in-house attorneys by organizing docket files, gathering discovery responses, scheduling witness interviews, obtaining signed declarations, drafting meeting notes, and coordinating with outside counsel.
  • Track case deadlines and project-manage attorney workstreams to ensure on-time deliverables.
  • Partner with eDiscovery professionals to collect and review documents in Relativity.
  • Investigate and independently handle small claims matters.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, Legal Ops, and Finance on litigation budgeting, spend reporting, and settlement payment processes.
  • Create meeting agendas, presentations, docket reports, and maintain key metrics updates for stakeholders.
  • Manage litigation software vendor relationships and related contracts.
  • Collaborate with other program managers on team-wide projects and shared initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related practical experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Litigation Paralegal, Legal Project Manager, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience.
  • 2+ years using common software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred: ability to learn/utilize tools such as LawVu, SimpleLegal, Slack, Jira, and Salesforce.
  • Preferred: familiarity with litigation processes (outside counsel engagement, discovery, witness interviews).
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple simultaneous matters; self-motivated with strong judgment, attention to detail, and high integrity.
  • Effective communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Process improvement mindset and comfort balancing tactical and strategic work.

Conditions

  • Hybrid work model (work from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by business needs).
  • Role can be based in Mountain View, Sunnyvale, San Francisco, or New York.
  • Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, stock, and benefits.
