Brand Creative Lead (Celsius)

Summary

The Brand Creative Lead (Celsius) is the senior day-to-day creative owner of the Celsius brand, partnering with the CCO to shape and protect the brand’s visual and verbal expression globally. The role ensures best-in-class, culturally relevant execution across packaging, campaigns, retail, digital, and experiential touchpoints.

What you'll do

  • Co-lead the overall creative vision and long-term evolution of the Celsius brand with the CCO.

  • Serve as guardian of the brand system, ensuring consistent visual identity, tone, and storytelling across markets, channels, and partners.

  • Own and evolve brand expression across packaging, POS, campaigns, events, digital, merchandise, and innovation.

  • Enforce global brand standards by reviewing and approving work across US and international markets.

  • Provide creative direction, feedback, and quality control across design, copy, production, CG, and external vendors.

  • Concept and direct brand photoshoots, including treatments, references, sketches, on-set direction, and post-production review.

  • Develop and maintain brand frameworks, toolkits, and visual systems to enable consistent execution at scale.

  • Guide brand copy and messaging to ensure verbal tone, headlines, and storytelling align with the Celsius voice.

  • Lead and mentor designers, art directors, and copywriters; delegate work and elevate creative output.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with innovation, marketing, digital, ecommerce, social, and project management teams.

  • Oversee packaging and label development, balancing innovation, cohesion, and production realities.

  • Review and approve print-ready and digital-ready assets across all touchpoints.

  • Create moodboards, sketches, and visual references to communicate creative intent.

  • Present and pitch creative concepts to internal stakeholders.

  • Manage and brief external agencies, partners, and freelancers as needed.

  • Contribute hands-on creative work when required (layout, typography, illustration, concept development).

  • Balance creative ambition with business objectives, timelines, and operational constraints.

  • Stay current on design trends, cultural shifts, and competitive landscape to inform creative evolution.

  • Champion ownership, accountability, and creative excellence across workstreams.

  • Leverage AI and emerging tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney) to enhance workflows and accelerate concepting.

Requirements

  • Portfolio required demonstrating strong brand systems, campaigns, and packaging work.

  • 10+ years of experience in brand design within an agency or in-house environment.

  • Proven experience leading and directing creative teams across multiple disciplines.

  • Deep expertise in brand systems, visual identity, and execution at scale across markets.

  • Advanced skills in layout, typography, color theory, illustration, and packaging design.

  • Strong conceptual ability to translate strategy into compelling creative.

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Figma and Microsoft tools is a plus.

  • Experience across print, digital, experiential, and retail environments.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of quality.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Highly collaborative, confident, and decisive creative leadership style.

  • Comfort with ambiguity, fast-paced workflows, and shifting priorities.

  • Organized, accountable, self-directed, with excellent time management.

  • Experience applying AI tools to creative development and workflows.

Conditions

  • Work model: In-office, based full-time at CELSIUS® Headquarters.

  • Location: Boca Raton, Florida.

  • Role type: Full-time.

  • Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel (not a driving position).
