Care Team Operations Manager

Summary

Brightline is a pediatric, teen, and parental mental health company providing therapy and psychiatry services through virtual and in-person outpatient care. The Care Team Operations Manager partners with clinical leadership to translate care priorities into reliable day-to-day execution through operational rhythms, workflows, and scalable processes. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this role serves as the operational backbone enabling clinical work to run effectively at scale.

What you'll do

  • Own day-to-day operational execution and project management across care team functions, ensuring workflows, handoffs, and processes run consistently and efficiently.
  • Act as the central coordination point for care team operations, maintaining visibility into staffing, scheduling, workflows, and operational dependencies.
  • Translate care priorities into operational workflows, standard processes, and day-to-day execution plans.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and tradeoffs; escalate decisions as needed to maintain progress.
  • Continuously improve care team workflows, SOPs, and operational playbooks; ensure documentation is scalable and consistently followed.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for care team tooling, coordinating issue escalation and staff support.
  • Manage vendor relationships for operational tooling, including renewals, performance accountability, and tooling investment recommendations.
  • Lead ongoing process improvement initiatives by proactively identifying operational inefficiencies.
  • Serve as the care team’s operational point of contact for cross-functional initiatives to ensure care workflows are protected and integrated.
  • Maintain and improve multidisciplinary collaboration models across coaching, therapy, psychiatry, and hybrid clinic service lines.
  • Create visibility into operational health (e.g., capacity, workflow performance, execution against care priorities).
  • Triage competing operational demands and allocate care team capacity effectively in real time.
  • Manage recurring operational programs (e.g., utilization programs, multidisciplinary coordination, care quality workflows such as AI-enabled tools, clinician engagement) and ensure alignment with care, operational, and business goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management or care operations within healthcare, digital health, or similarly complex environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, ongoing operational workflows with competing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Experience owning operational processes, SOPs, and workflow documentation in a healthcare or care operations setting.
  • Ability to partner with senior care and care operations leaders and influence without direct authority.
  • Experience translating evolving care needs into structured operational processes.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, venture-backed environment (preferred).
  • Comfort supporting VP-level and senior clinical leaders.
  • Clinical background not required; must be able to learn quickly and operate effectively in care settings.

Conditions

  • Compensation: Annual base salary range $95,000–$110,000 plus equity; geo-based compensation philosophy.
