Summary
DevHandler is seeking a Content Editor with hands-on WordPress VIP experience to support a client during a critical project phase in Madrid, with the opportunity to transition to long-term remote content operations upon successful project completion.
What you'll do
- Explain and clarify WordPress VIP workflows, capabilities, and publishing processes during client workshops and preparation meetings
- Support the client's team during the pitch phase with CMS-related guidance
- Publish, update, and maintain content in WordPress VIP including pages, posts, media, metadata, and reusable components
- Perform content QA including formatting checks, layout validation, link testing, and consistency review
- Follow brand governance rules ensuring accuracy and high quality across digital properties
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and localization teams during ongoing content work
- Maintain structured documentation and support content release cycles
Requirements
- Proven experience with WordPress VIP
- Strong understanding of publishing workflows, approvals, and editorial processes
- Ability to explain technical CMS topics in a clear, structured, non-technical manner
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot content and formatting issues quickly
- English B2+ level for daily communication; Spanish is a plus
- Must be currently in Madrid or able to arrive within 7 days
- Nice to have: Basic HTML knowledge, experience with global brands or large content operations, understanding of SEO and accessibility basics, previous roles in content management, editorial, or digital marketing
