Summary
Our client is a Scandinavian company transforming capital projects and operations execution through digital solutions. This role involves developing identity and access management (IAM) systems and backend services in C#/.NET, shaping both product experience and technical architecture. You'll work in a self-driven team owning an entire application with full responsibility across the stack.
What you'll do
- Build and evolve backend services in C#/.NET, owning key parts of the IAM domain
- Design and maintain integrations between portal, backend services, and third-party systems
- Work across full surface area: backend, React frontend, and DevOps infrastructure
- Shape features with product team through scoping, estimating, and challenging requirements
- Mentor teammates and contribute to architectural discussions and agile ceremonies
- Support end-to-end team ownership from infrastructure to UI
- Improve DevOps setup using Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
- Collaborate across engineering teams and disciplines to balance technical depth with business needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with C# or .NET, including building and maintaining production-grade systems
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to operate across broad, evolving technical landscape
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code approaches (preferably Terraform)
- Practical experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or related identity/security domains
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and architectural design contribution skills
- Product-oriented mindset considering business goals, user needs, and system impact
- Nice to have: Azure cloud experience, React experience, ability to travel abroad annually for team building
Conditions
Work as part of a self-driven team of seven owning an entire application with full responsibility. Opportunity to work across backend, frontend, and infrastructure. Occasional travel required once a year for on-site team building in Oslo, Norway. Based in Norway, UK, or U.S. offices.
