Summary
Paula’s Choice Skincare is a global, science-backed skincare brand founded in 1995 with a mission rooted in trust, bold ideas, kindness, and community. The Graphic Designer will create performance-driven digital creative across Paula’s Choice direct-to-consumer channels to support acquisition, conversion, and retention. This role partners closely with ecommerce, growth, and brand teams to strengthen the online customer journey and drive measurable results.
What you'll do
- Design high-performing digital assets across the ecommerce funnel (acquisition, conversion, retention) for DTC growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, and DTC teams to plan, refine, and optimize creative and collateral.
- Own the creative process from concept to execution while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and DTC strategy.
- Maintain brand consistency while adapting creative for different customer touchpoints and channels.
- Identify and implement improvements to creative production workflows to scale asset creation and increase efficiency.
- Provide creative support for campaigns, product launches, and ongoing marketing initiatives.
- Stay current on digital design trends, ecommerce best practices, and emerging tools that improve performance-driven creative.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience (preferably in fast-paced DTC, ecommerce, or digitally native brands).
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital marketing, ecommerce, and performance-driven creative.
- Experience with graphic animation and incorporating video into creative assets.
- Ability to develop creative across multichannel digital campaigns.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools, emerging creative technologies, and/or 3D design software.
- Understanding of how creative impacts ecommerce performance (conversion, engagement, retention).
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and production skills; ability to take direction and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to understand project goals and articulate design concepts.
Standout experience:
- Experience working at a DTC or ecommerce-first company.
- Working knowledge of UX/UI design and responsive web design.
- Experience in cosmetics or skincare.
Conditions
- Location: Based in Seattle, WA; preference for local candidates but flexible on location (many roles are fully remote).
- Hours: Typical PST business hours; some flexibility required.
- Travel: Minimal travel may be required for team meetings or events.
