Wealth Management Analyst
Summary
Morgan Stanley is hiring a Wealth Management Analyst to provide exceptional client service and support Financial Advisors/Private Wealth Advisors and their teams. The role focuses on day-to-day service coverage while assisting with digital marketing, financial planning, reporting, and analysis to help execute the team’s client service model and business plan.
What you'll do
Support FA/PWA/team coverage by preparing for regular client meetings and tracking follow-ups.
Provide backup coverage for Client Service Associate responsibilities as requested (e.g., money movement transactions, answering non-investment account questions, educating/enrolling clients in digital tools such as MS Online).
Accept or enter unsolicited orders and/or enter solicited orders in a clerical capacity, as requested.
Remain current on firm policies, procedures, and new platforms.
Help organize and execute the team business plan in partnership with internal stakeholders (e.g., Practice Strategy Consultants, Branch Management).
Execute administrative elements of digital and in-person marketing (conferences, seminars/webinars, websites, social media, regular email connectivity).
Prepare and review client reports and/or financial plans using firm-approved systems for existing and prospective clients.
Assist with research using firm-approved systems.
Participate in client and prospective client meetings, representing the service perspective.
Participate in firm initiatives, training/education programs, special projects, and other duties as directed by local management.
Requirements
2+ years of relevant work experience.
Four-year college degree or professional certification preferred.
Active Series 7 required.
Active Series 66 required, or Series 63 and Series 65 required.
Additional product licenses may be required.
Knowledge of financial services products (equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, managed accounts).
Technical proficiency and ability to learn new/upgraded platforms quickly.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Proficiency with personal computers, MS Office (especially Excel), and internet applications.
Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills.
Strong time management; collaborative team player; adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
Conditions
Compensation includes an expected base pay range of $68,000 to $120,000 per year (total compensation may include commissions, incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other short- and long-term incentive packages).
