HR Generalist
Summary
Instacart is transforming the grocery industry by expanding access to food and saving customers time. The HR Generalist supports pillars within the HR Business Partner function by advising on employee relations and compensation matters and driving people-process improvements to enable business growth.
What you'll do
Advise and coach first-time managers on employee relations, compensation, performance management, HR policies, and systems implementation.
Partner with HR Business Partner(s) on larger projects and organizational changes.
Identify, recommend, and help implement improvements to HR programs and processes to increase efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
Manage new hire onboarding logistics for assigned client groups.
Conduct exit interviews and support administration of employee offboarding.
Stay current on relevant state HR laws and practices across payroll, benefits, compliance, terminations, and leaves of absence.
Manage employee relations and respond to employee questions regarding benefits, systems, performance, programs, and policies.
Requirements
5+ years of HR experience in fast-growing organizations.
Knowledge of HR federal and state laws and regulations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills with experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionally.
Experience representing HR policies and practices to managers and employees (being the face of HR).
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
Conditions
