HR Assistant (Remote)
Summary
Lensa is promoting a contract HR Assistant role for Aston Carter, supporting a global My HR Live Support team. The role serves as a first point of contact for employees regarding Leave of Absence, Disability, and HR inquiries, aiming to deliver a world-class employee experience.
What you'll do
Own employee contacts end-to-end, driving resolution with strong problem-solving and customer focus.
Handle inquiries via phone, chat, and email as the first point of contact for leave, disability, and HR-related questions.
Resolve issues using available documentation (e.g., FAQs, SOPs) and escalate cases when appropriate.
Build trust through empathetic, personalized conversations and adjust case management plans as needs change.
Respond to issues during leave events, ensuring appropriate communication and documentation.
Apply judgment and critical thinking to balance process adherence with employee needs when reviewing disability, leave, and accommodation requests.
Consult and collaborate with partner teams to address cross-functional issues and improve policies/processes.
Requirements
Experience in HR and customer service, particularly supporting customers via phone and chat.
Strong communication skills with demonstrated empathy.
Strong research skills to locate accurate answers and information.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information.
Ability to adapt to changing workloads in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Conditions
100% remote; must have a dedicated home workspace.
On camera required during training and nesting.
Training schedule (first 6 weeks): Mon–Fri, 6:00am–3:00pm, mandatory attendance.
Post-training schedule: Wed–Sun, 9:30am–6:00pm PST; must be able to work weekends.
Contract position.
