Product Designer
Summary
Arc is building the future of startup finance, providing founders and CFOs with banking, cash management, and growth capital solutions. The Product Designer will help shape and scale Arc’s platform by delivering high-impact features across core cash management and capital products. This role partners closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to take projects from idea to launch and beyond.
What you'll do
Help define product requirements and design features in accordance with the product roadmap.
Craft high-fidelity visuals, prototypes, and detailed specifications for design solutions.
Participate in design reviews and share work regularly with the design team and company leadership.
Collaborate with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and user experience.
Define and deliver design solutions that are both simple and powerful, balancing speed and quality.
Requirements
2+ years of experience designing and shipping software.
Experience across multiple design disciplines, including user experience, visual design, and interaction design.
Experience designing and shipping a web/app product across a variety of devices and platforms.
Ability to make informed design decisions and explain them clearly and simply.
Strong design aesthetic and judgment, including knowing when less design is better.
Ability to understand and manage trade-offs between speed and quality.
Comfort thriving in ambiguity, learning quickly, and taking ownership from idea through launch.
Nice to have:
Startup experience.
Fintech experience.
Experience building design systems.
Prototyping experience with Framer, Principle, or similar tools.
Experience using modern AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Cowork).
