Middle+ AQA Engineer

Symfa is seeking a Middle+ AQA Engineer to design, develop, and implement robust automated test scenarios for UI components and APIs. The role involves maintaining and enhancing their Test Automation Framework using Playwright while collaborating with development teams to ensure quality and testability throughout the application lifecycle.

• Assess existing test coverage and test strategy to align with evolving application workflows and new business requirements
• Design, develop, and implement robust automated test scenarios for new UI components and APIs
• Maintain and enhance the Test Automation Framework (TAF) using Playwright, TypeScript, and NodeJS
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Azure DevOps
• Develop and maintain comprehensive end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure new features are designed with testability in mind
• Identify gaps in existing quality processes and propose innovative improvements
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders through email, messengers, and calls in English

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AQA/Test Automation roles
• Strong test automation expertise with proven track record building and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and NodeJS
• Proficiency in SQL for database testing, query validation, and understanding data structures
• Familiarity with integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, especially Azure DevOps
• Ability to define, collect, and analyze test metrics to monitor efficiency and effectiveness
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• English proficiency of at least B2 level
