Senior Java Developer

FxPro is a leading international fintech company with offices in Limassol, London, Nassau, and Dubai. As a Senior Java Developer, you will join a rapidly growing IT department and develop backend services for a diverse team of over 500 employees. You will design and develop new functionalities following company standards while collaborating with team members across the organization.

• Develop and support backend services
• Design and develop new functionalities in line with business requirements, following company standards including code quality, test coverage, TDD, BDD, and performance requirements
• Proactively identify and report issues, vulnerabilities, and other technical problems in the company's code
• Collaborate with team members, other teams, project managers, and business analysts to meet company goals

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Java Developer with Java 17+ and Spring/Spring Boot
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related discipline
• Experience with CI/CD automation
• In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and S.O.L.I.D. principles
• Strong development skills in decomposition, development, and testing
• Experience with microservices, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with SQL Databases, PostgreSQL, and Hibernate
• TCP/IP networking programming experience including HTTP and gRPC
• Intermediate or above English language proficiency; Greek and/or Russian advantageous
• FinTech experience in Stock trading, Forex, or Investments considered an advantage
