Talent pool: Senior GCP DevOps Engineer

Quantori is seeking a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer for their talent pool. The role focuses on building and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform with expertise in containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will work independently to design scalable solutions and improve engineering practices.

• Build cloud-native infrastructure on GCP using VPC, IAM, GKE, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage
• Containerize with Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes and Helm
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Use Terraform and Ansible as daily infrastructure tools
• Script automation and tooling with Python and Bash
• Monitor systems and resolve issues before they escalate
• Review code, document changes, and improve engineering practices

Professional Certification:

• At least one GCP certification required: Cloud Architect, Cloud Database Engineer, Cloud Developer, Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Network Engineer, or Cloud Security Engineer

Professional Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with GCP (networking, compute, storage, databases)
• Fluency in Kubernetes and knowledge of cluster internals
• Capability of optimizing Docker for production
• Knowledge of what good CI/CD looks like and how to build it
• Automation with Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash
• Awareness of DevOps principles, not just tools
• Clear communication and ability to work independently
• Capability to overlap with PST time zone

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of core AWS services and differences from GCP
• Experience with cloud-to-cloud migrations
• Strong understanding of PKI, certificate management, and secure data exchange
• Healthcare domain knowledge: HL7, Fyre, IAG profiles, clinical documentation workflows
