Senior Backend AI Engineer

Adaptiq is a technology hub specializing in building R&D teams for fast-growing product companies. Zenity is the first security governance platform built for AI Copilots and Low-Code/No-Code applications, and we are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to drive the evolution of our enterprise security platform.

• Design and build backend services powering security governance for GenAI, Copilots, and Low-Code platforms
• Deliver end-to-end product features used by enterprise customers at scale
• Develop detection logic, data flows, and validation layers for complex workflows and automations
• Work with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native components
• Build and optimize SQL schema, queries, data models, and near-real-time processing pipelines
• Leverage AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) extensively as part of daily development workflow for design, implementation, refactoring, and debugging
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate closely with product and security teams
• Implement security-focused backend solutions that help enterprises adopt AI responsibly

• 7+ years of experience in backend software development (Python, Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, Node.js, Scala)
• Proven delivery of production features on core product systems with real user impact
• Strong SQL fundamentals with hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL plus familiarity with MongoDB or DynamoDB
• Experience building distributed systems or microservices, including observability and CI/CD automation
• Experience working with AI agents or copilots (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) as part of daily development workflow
• Understanding of AI-first development principles such as prompt/context engineering, human-in-the-loop workflows, and validation of AI-generated code
• Solid cloud background (AWS preferred) and hands-on work with Docker and container-based deployments
• Experience contributing to high-scale or customer-facing products
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines or large-scale data systems
• Strong English communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed teams
• Ownership mindset and ability to take features from design to production
