Freelance Middle Project Manager

Gotoinc is seeking an experienced freelance Middle Project Manager to join their team on a flexible, project-based collaboration model. You will lead software development projects independently, managing the full lifecycle from discovery and planning through delivery while maintaining strong client and stakeholder communication.

• Participate in pre-sales activities: review project scope, collaborate on estimations, and support proposal preparation and client presentations
• Lead discovery phases to clarify project scope, define requirements, and present outcomes to clients
• Take ownership of project delivery and manage the complete project lifecycle from planning to delivery
• Step into ongoing projects when needed and stabilize delivery
• Build and maintain effective communication with clients and development teams for alignment
• Monitor project health including scope, timelines, risks, and financial status with regular stakeholder updates
• Coordinate team workload and support resource planning
• Maintain clear and structured project documentation

• 3+ years of experience managing software development projects
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency with confidence in direct client communication
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practical experience with common project management tools
• Ability to define project scope, structure requirements, and work with development teams on estimations and planning
• Proven experience independently leading projects from planning to delivery
• Experience managing risks, priorities, and delivery expectations
• Clear and confident communication with clients, developers, and stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts

• Nice to have: Technical background or previous development experience
