Summary

Cloudesign is hiring a Frontend Developer to develop, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using React.js and Next.js. The role focuses on delivering high-quality features, building scalable frontend architectures, and optimizing performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

What you'll do

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using React.js and Next.js.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality features.
  • Design and implement scalable frontend architectures following industry best practices.
  • Contribute to High-Level Designs (HLDs) with attention to rendering strategies, performance optimization, and maintainability.
  • Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and translate designs into clean, reusable code.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
  • Integrate and manage external libraries and third-party tools effectively.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
  • Write unit tests and support code quality via reviews and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation for components, workflows, and architectural decisions.
  • Propose and drive improvements to development processes and solutions.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
  • Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js (mandatory).
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong experience with Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience with external libraries and UI component libraries (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment workflows.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Plus points:

  • Exposure to AI/LLMs.
  • Working knowledge of Python.
  • Basic understanding of backend or full-stack concepts.
  • Experience with AWS services (S3, CloudFront, Route53).
  • Experience with performance optimization and frontend security best practices.
  • Open-source contributions.
