Senior DevOps Engineer

PwC is a global network of professional services firms seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for their Lviv SDC office. This role combines technical expertise with team leadership to deliver innovative DevOps solutions for clients across Central and Eastern Europe.

• Administer and configure Linux/Unix environments including network and software application setups
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
• Develop and maintain automation scripts on Linux platforms using Bash, Python, Awk, and Sed
• Deploy and support applications in Docker containers and containerized environments
• Manage cloud systems and infrastructure administration
• Perform configuration management and automate deployment processes
• Automate routine development, operations, and deployment tasks
• Manage databases including design, creation, query optimization, and manipulation

• Experience administering and configuring Linux OS including network and software application setups
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipeline tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Strong scripting capabilities on Linux platform (Bash, Awk, Sed, Python)
• Experience with Docker containers for application deployment
• Knowledge of cloud-hosted systems and infrastructure
• Database management skills for both relational and NoSQL data stores
• Understanding of transport security, SSH, and certificates
• Experience with enterprise orchestration tools and messaging queues (RabbitMQ)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and identify solutions
