Summary
Crestwood Partners is leading an executive search for a President & CEO on behalf of a privately held, PE-backed FMCG manufacturer with over $150M in revenue and operations across six or more U.S. manufacturing facilities. The role is to integrate multiple acquired businesses into one unified company by harmonizing operations, culture, systems, and capabilities to position the business for a premium exit within a 3–5 year horizon.
What you'll do
- Lead a multi-year integration and harmonization of manufacturing operations across all facilities
- Build a unified senior leadership team, assess current capability, and make decisions on the structure and talent needed for the next phase
- Hold full P&L accountability across sites and categories, including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and working capital
- Drive procurement consolidation and supply chain integration to improve margins
- Protect and grow key customer relationships across retail, foodservice, and private-label channels
- Champion consistent food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all sites (FSMA, SQF, BRCGS)
- Embed a common continuous improvement culture across facilities
- Prepare the business for a successful private equity exit operationally, financially, and organizationally
Requirements
- Significant experience in food manufacturing, progressing from plant-level roles to multi-site P&L leadership
- Experience across branded and private-label operations preferred
- At least one demonstrable post-acquisition integration of manufacturing operations with direct personal accountability for outcomes
- Full P&L ownership at a comparable revenue scale with evidence of EBITDA improvement
- Direct experience working with private equity investors, including pacing/cadence, financial expectations, and exit timeline management
- Working knowledge of U.S. food safety and regulatory frameworks including FSMA, SQF, and BRCGS
- Proven ability to build and develop a senior leadership team, including making difficult personnel decisions
- Adjacent consumer goods or beverage manufacturing experience welcomed if supported by essential food safety/regulatory expertise
Conditions
