Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java+React/Angular)

N-iX is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with Java and React/Angular expertise to accelerate product development for HotSchedules Labor, a flagship workforce management solution. You'll work in a collaborative, international team across Ukraine, Latin America, and the US, utilizing AI coding agents to enhance development speed and code quality.

• Develop new features based on product backlog
• Build REST services for high-volume, low-latency web and mobile applications
• Design and implement database schema changes (MS SQL Server) and maintain Flyway migrations
• Maintain and refactor existing codebases, including legacy Backbone.js modules
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development and enhance code quality
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Java
• At least 6 months of daily experience using AI coding agents (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring JDBC)
• Experience with MS SQL Server and Flyway database migrations
• Practical experience with React 18/Angular, including Redux and component libraries (Material UI or similar)
• Experience with Gradle build system
• Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Lambda) and Azure (Service Bus, Blob Storage) is a plus
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a nice-to-have
• Upper-intermediate English or higher
