Summary

PIN-UP Global is seeking a SysOps Engineer to join their infrastructure operations team. The role focuses on automation, infrastructure-as-code implementation, and management of private cloud environments. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern DevOps practices and emerging cloud technologies in a multicultural, fast-growing organization.

What you'll do

  • Author, review, and maintain infrastructure as code using Ansible and Terraform
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts to reduce operational toil
  • Automate and improve VM administration and support processes
  • Maintain standardized OS and software configurations, including lifecycle management and golden image creation
  • Optimize resources, implement cost tagging, and plan for budgeting and reporting
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents
  • Manage software upgrades, kernel patching, and errata patching
  • Implement backup strategies, test restores, and manage snapshot lifecycle and cross-region replication
  • Maintain and improve monitoring systems with proactive approach
  • Support infrastructure in accordance with IT security policies
  • Produce runbooks, architecture diagrams, and coordinate with infrastructure teams
  • Stay current with industry trends and recommend cloud technology best practices

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, SysOps Engineer, or DevOps Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Linux architecture and systems implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code approach (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Strong knowledge of maintaining and operating private clouds
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD approach and experience with GitLab CI and GitHub Actions
  • Automation skills using Bash and/or Python
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Good understanding of observability stack (Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
  • Knowledge of virtualization solutions (libvirt, KVM, QEMU)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes management
  • Plus: Linux certifications (RHCSA or LPIC-1,2), network operations experience
  • Soft Skills: Team player, critical thinking, good communicator, open to challenges, thirst for knowledge, strong time management
