Learning & Development Specialist
Summary
Campspot is a remote-first software company building reservation management and marketplace products for campgrounds and RV parks. The Learning & Development Specialist will create and maintain customer and internal education programs, including documentation, training modules, webinars, and certification content. The role supports product adoption and customer success while partnering cross-functionally with product, support, and marketing.
What you'll do
- Maintain and update the Campspot Knowledge Base to ensure documentation is accurate, current, and easy to navigate.
- Create new product documentation, guides, and FAQs for customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with product and support to proactively update resources based on releases and customer feedback.
- Manage and expand the Campspot Certification Program.
- Develop training modules, assessments, and materials to certify users on best practices.
- Monitor certification progress and iterate on the program using user feedback and industry trends.
- Host routine webinars for park operators covering product updates, new features, and best practices.
- Create and manage interactive learning sessions and materials that improve customer success and satisfaction.
- Develop product launch learning materials and collaborate with marketing on feature rollouts.
- Manage and oversee Pendo for product learning, feature education, and announcements.
- Develop and maintain internal onboarding and ongoing training programs for employees.
- Partner with department leads to build role-based learning paths.
- Organize regular training sessions, workshops, and refresher courses to keep teams up to date.
Requirements
- Experience in learning & development, training, or technical documentation (preferably in SaaS or software training).
- Ability to create engaging training materials (e.g., videos, guides, quizzes, webinars).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Experience hosting webinars, virtual training sessions, or live demonstrations.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms, certification programs, and knowledge management tools (preferred).
Conditions
Remote-first workplace; priority for candidates near Grand Rapids, MI, or the Denver, CO and Chicago, IL metro areas.
Eligibility limited to candidates residing in the US in: CO, IA, IL, ME, MA, MI, NY, NC, OR, SC, TX, UT, VT, VA (or near listed hubs); candidates outside the US or outside these states are not considered.
