Documentation & Enablement Specialist
Summary
LinkedIn is building a knowledge management foundation within its Strategic Finance Center of Excellence to centralize and modernize key finance operations. The Documentation & Enablement Specialist will create and maintain clear documentation and training materials to ensure process clarity, consistency, onboarding effectiveness, and adoption across Finance.
What you'll do
Develop and maintain knowledge assets such as SOPs, desktop procedures (DTPs), job aids, onboarding guides, and process maps.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, shadowing, and discovery sessions to capture accurate end-to-end process details.
Maintain centralized documentation repositories, including version control and documentation governance standards.
Support knowledge management initiatives through audits, refreshes, and updates to keep content current and aligned.
Create training and enablement materials to drive adoption at scale.
Collaborate across the organization and support culture initiatives related to diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of experience in process documentation, knowledge management, or content development.
Preferred: 3+ years of experience identifying process gaps/inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
Preferred: Exposure to finance processes (e.g., FP&A, Finance Operations).
Preferred: Experience with change management and creating enablement content.
Preferred: Ability to design and develop digital content (e.g., interactive guides, visual aids).
Skills: SOP development, process documentation, process mapping (Lucidchart/Miro), knowledge management systems, version control, documentation governance.
Conditions
Hybrid work model (mix of home and LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs).
Role based in San Francisco or Sunnyvale.
Compensation includes base pay range (stated annually) plus potential annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and other incentive plans.
