What you'll do
Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices on time in compliance with company policies.
Manage billing adjustments, credit notes, and perform account reconciliations as needed.
Review accounts for discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly.
Handle customer billing inquiries and provide clear explanations of charges and billing processes.
Maintain accurate billing transaction records and generate periodic management reports.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to gather information needed for billing accuracy.
Assist with improvements to billing processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage numerical data accurately.
Familiarity with billing software and accounting systems; Great Plains or Sage 300 experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for professional interaction with customers and internal teams.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving billing issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions used for data analysis and reporting.
