Project Manager
Summary
PLANEKS is seeking a highly organized and technically astute Project Manager to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring successful delivery of IT projects from conception to completion with a strong focus on understanding and exceeding client expectations. You will be the central point of contact for clients and the development team, driving transparency, clarity, and efficient progress.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and proactively managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines and team allocation
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and scope
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Serve as liaison between clients and development team with regular transparent updates
- Strategically manage engineering talent, foster team motivation, and champion professional growth
- Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and exceed client expectations
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and generate clear reports for stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies
- Participate in presales activities including understanding client requirements and presenting project approaches
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in an IT environment, ideally in small to medium-sized companies
- Demonstrated track record of building strong client relationships and achieving high client satisfaction
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com)
- Strong technical aptitude with good grasp of SDLC and general IT concepts
- Ability to write and understand Python code (significant plus, not required)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proactive approach to issue resolution
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Project Management certification such as PMP or CSM (plus)
Conditions
Schedule & Location: 100% remote work with flexitime - choose working hours between 8:00-20:00. No overtime, no work on weekends.
