Project Manager

PLANEKS is seeking a highly organized and technically astute Project Manager to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring successful delivery of IT projects from conception to completion with a strong focus on understanding and exceeding client expectations. You will be the central point of contact for clients and the development team, driving transparency, clarity, and efficient progress.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and proactively managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders
• Develop detailed project plans including timelines and team allocation
• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and scope
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
• Serve as liaison between clients and development team with regular transparent updates
• Strategically manage engineering talent, foster team motivation, and champion professional growth
• Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and exceed client expectations
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and generate clear reports for stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies
• Participate in presales activities including understanding client requirements and presenting project approaches

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in an IT environment, ideally in small to medium-sized companies
• Demonstrated track record of building strong client relationships and achieving high client satisfaction
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com)
• Strong technical aptitude with good grasp of SDLC and general IT concepts
• Ability to write and understand Python code (significant plus, not required)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proactive approach to issue resolution
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Project Management certification such as PMP or CSM (plus)

Schedule & Location: 100% remote work with flexitime - choose working hours between 8:00-20:00. No overtime, no work on weekends.
