Security Researcher/Analyst - anti-malware product (Web Protection Team), remote

CloudLinux is seeking a Security Researcher/Analyst to join the Web Protection Team for their anti-malware product. The role focuses on researching cyberattacks, analyzing web vulnerabilities, and developing threat analysis tools for a remote position.

• Research cyberattacks affecting and targeting major business infrastructures
• Participate in threat hunting and threat intelligence research projects
• Analyze and mitigate latest web vulnerabilities (0-day and patched), communicate with responsible authorities
• Develop and improve internal tools for automatic threat analysis
• Investigate incidents for customer benefit

• Wide experience with web attacks and mitigation methods
• Good understanding of web server software and hosting systems architectures (Linux/UNIX-based)
• Good understanding of PHP language with proven code analysis/scripting experience
• Familiarity with web-based malware
• AI/ML skills or strong willingness to learn and apply AI in security automation
• English language knowledge no lower than upper-intermediate
• Preferred: Security tools development experience, Python development, CTF or bug bounty participation, vulnerability finding experience, ModSecurity and OSSEC familiarity
