Summary
GlobalLogic is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to own the cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, security posture, and reliability of a production-grade AI-driven SDLC platform built on AWS. This hands-on technical leadership role involves designing and implementing the production foundation for AI agents and orchestration services integrating Bedrock, enterprise knowledge bases, and agent orchestration.
What you'll do
- Design and own AWS cloud architecture including multi-account setup and prod/non-prod isolation
- Build infrastructure using Terraform with modular, reusable, and environment-aware configurations
- Architect and implement AWS Lambda services, API Gateway, Step Functions, and event-driven patterns
- Design secure Bedrock integrations with private networking, IAM policies, and VPC endpoints
- Architect knowledge base storage solutions using S3, OpenSearch, and vector storage infrastructure
- Design networking topology including VPCs, private subnets, endpoints, and routing
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized services using ECS or EKS
- Establish observability stack with CloudWatch, tracing, and structured logging
- Implement secrets management and define IAM least-privilege architecture
- Define SRE practices, cost governance, and DevSecOps standards
- Support AI engineers in productionizing model services and tool backends
Requirements
- 8+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
- 6+ years of deep AWS architecture experience
- Strong Terraform expertise including modules, state management, and multi-environment configurations
- Deep knowledge of Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC networking
- Experience designing secure multi-account AWS environments
- CI/CD pipeline architecture and infrastructure security hardening experience
- Experience deploying distributed production systems
- Experience with ECS or EKS
- Strong understanding of AI/ML production infrastructure and data pipelines
- Experience with RAG system infrastructure requirements
- Experience integrating AWS Bedrock or other enterprise LLM services
- Strong cost optimization mindset and excellent architecture documentation skills
