As the sole Product Designer reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will own end-to-end product design to improve the Cylinder experience and contribute to better health outcomes.
What you'll do
- Own all stages of the design process for the Cylinder platform, from user research and wireframing to final implementation, leveraging AI-powered design and prototyping tools to accelerate workflows.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to deliver easy-to-use, visually appealing experiences aligned with business goals.
- Develop and maintain design documentation including specifications, interactive mockups, and style guides.
- Plan and run usability testing; gather and incorporate user feedback into design decisions.
- Stay current on UX trends, AI design tools, and competitor products to inform solutions.
- Maintain the integrity of the product design system and partner with marketing to ensure brand consistency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product design experience with strong design principles and user-centered design methodology.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Comfort using AI-powered design/productivity tools (e.g., Figma AI features, ChatGPT or similar) and willingness to integrate them into workflows.
- Experience with user research methods (surveys, interviews, usability testing, data analysis) to generate actionable insights; Maze familiarity is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Digital healthcare experience preferred but not required; formal product design education is a plus but not required.

- Compensation range: $115,000–$125,000 annually (equal opportunity employer).
