As a Junior Manual QA Engineer (Web), you will ensure product stability and quality for scalable web applications while working on a new project built from scratch. You'll directly influence product decisions and contribute to improving QA processes alongside a motivated team.
What you'll do
- Analyze product requirements and create test cases for new features
- Perform manual testing of web applications: functional, regression, UI/UX, and smoke testing
- Test APIs using Postman / Swagger with basic positive and negative scenarios
- Work with browser DevTools: logs, network requests, and console errors
- Assess testing risks and participate in task planning
- Create clear and well-structured bug reports with proper reproduction steps and prioritization
- Contribute to improving QA processes and test documentation
Requirements
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in manual QA (web) testing
- Solid understanding of SDLC / STLC, common testing types, and test design techniques
- Hands-on experience with Postman or similar tools for API testing
- Experience working with SQL / NoSQL databases
- Experience creating and maintaining test cases and bug reports using TMS / Jira
- Plus: Experience with incident analysis, basic automation skills, Git familiarity, and experience with Kibana / Grafana logs
