They are seeking a contract Video Editor to produce polished YouTube videos by editing provided footage, scripts, and references in a clearly defined, established creator style.
What you'll do
Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos to match a specific established Orlando Informer creator style.
Replicate pacing, music usage, graphics, sound design, and storytelling approach based on provided examples.
Assemble raw footage, screen recordings, voiceover, music, and graphics into finished videos.
Add text overlays, basic motion graphics, b-roll, sound effects, and visual polish as needed.
Ensure videos follow YouTube best practices for pacing, clarity, and viewer retention.
Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently and accurately.
Organize project files and exports according to internal standards.
Meet agreed-upon deadlines and production schedules.
Handle other video-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Proven experience editing YouTube videos, with samples demonstrating consistency and strong storytelling.
Ability to closely match an existing editing style and follow detailed creative direction.
Strong proficiency with professional editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Comfort working with shared assets, brand guidelines, and reference videos.
Excellent attention to detail (timing, audio levels, text accuracy, visual consistency).
Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment.
Interest in or familiarity with theme parks, travel, or YouTube content is required.
Conditions
Remote, contract position (remote-first company).
Compensation: $250 per long-form video.
Work closely with the internal team to support ongoing video production needs.
