SEO Specilist with Link Building Experience

Somma Digital is seeking a full-time SEO Specialist to improve organic search performance across client accounts with focus on technical SEO and AI search visibility. This hands-on role emphasizes practical execution, ongoing optimization, and measurable performance improvements through tactical SEO actions.

• Manage and improve SEO performance across client accounts
• Conduct hands-on technical SEO audits and implement recommendations
• Improve site structure, crawlability, indexing, internal linking, and on-page optimization
• Monitor keyword performance, rankings, traffic, and search visibility
• Identify quick wins and longer-term SEO opportunities
• Optimize websites and content for both traditional search and AI search visibility
• Work on metadata, content optimization, schema, page performance, and technical fixes
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to support SEO outcomes
• Track performance and provide clear reporting and insights
• Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and AI search developments

• Strong technical SEO knowledge
• On-page SEO and content optimization experience
• Understanding of AI search and evolving search behavior
• Keyword research and search intent analysis skills
• Site audit and SEO troubleshooting abilities
• Internal linking and site structure optimization expertise
• Performance tracking and SEO reporting capabilities
• Understanding of schema markup, indexing, crawlability, and page speed
• Ability to identify tactical SEO actions that improve results
• Highly desirable: Agency experience, experience across multiple websites or client accounts, ability to work closely with developers and content teams, strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Bonus: Familiarity with SEO tools and platforms, local SEO knowledge, conversion-focused SEO experience, experience optimizing for AI-generated search results
