Senior DevOps Engineer

Plexteq is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for an innovative fintech project. This role involves maintaining and developing a SoftPOS solution that converts mobile devices into secure payment terminals. You will work with an international senior-level DevOps team with minimal supervision in a technically excellent environment.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure including EC2, ECS, and EKS services
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches for system management
• Instrument and monitor production systems for reliability and performance
• Work with Linux and Docker containerization technologies
• Write and maintain Bash scripts and automation tools
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and SOC2 standards in operations

• 5+ years of commercial DevOps engineering experience
• Fluent hands-on expertise with Linux, Bash, and Docker
• Proven experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of AWS ecosystem (EC2, ECS, EKS)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
• Proficiency in instrumenting and monitoring production systems
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher (spoken and written)
• Plus: PCI-DSS and SOC2 environment experience, general-purpose scripting languages (Python, Perl), SQL or NoSQL database experience
