Clinical Design Engineer

Materialise is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Design Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will develop medical implants and surgical guides based on clinical requests and anatomical data, with comprehensive training provided to support your growth.

• Develop medical implants and guides for CMF (Craniomaxillofacial) based on clinical engineer requests and surgeon preferences
• Analyze medical image data and patient clinical history to determine high-level clinical reality
• Work according to established work instructions and procedures
• Incorporate anatomy aspects into design solutions

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory)
• Good 3-dimensional thinking and spatial visualization skills
• Basic experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or similar software
• Intermediate English language proficiency
• General engineering knowledge
• Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting abilities
• Good self-organization and time management skills
• Understanding of 3D-printing technology (a plus)
