Learning Solutions Manager, Talent Development

Summary

Accordion is a high-growth finance and technology consulting firm headquartered in New York, partnering with private equity sponsors and CFO organizations to drive value creation. The Learning Solutions Manager joins the Talent Development Team to translate business learning needs into scalable, high-impact programs that support consultants and business teams. This role bridges strategy and execution while helping expand learning capabilities across the firm.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the Head of Talent Development to translate business priorities into scalable learning solutions aligned to firm strategy.
  • Design, develop, and iterate learning programs, courses, and curricula focused on skill development, leadership growth, and career readiness.
  • Build blended learning experiences across in-person, virtual, self-paced, social/peer learning, and digital modalities.
  • Lead design and project management for key learning initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Curate and create learning content (toolkits, facilitator guides, job aids, eLearning) aligned with adult learning principles.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of major programs, including project plans, communications, and success metrics.
  • Partner with Learning Administrators on logistics, LMS setup (Docebo), communications, tracking, and operational execution.
  • Maintain and enhance the learning catalog and curriculum roadmap to keep programs aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external vendors to source or co-develop learning content.
  • Define success criteria, gather feedback, measure impact beyond satisfaction metrics, and demonstrate learning ROI.
  • Use data and insights to recommend continuous improvements to learning offerings.
  • Coach and develop Learning Administrators on instructional best practices and process improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders by translating needs into targeted learning experiences.
  • Contribute to the evolution and scaling of the Learning function as the firm grows domestically and internationally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Learning, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in learning design and development, talent development, or organizational effectiveness.
  • Deep experience designing and delivering learning programs, preferably in professional services, consulting, or fast-paced client-oriented environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex learning projects end-to-end.
  • Experience with learning technologies, including LMS platforms (Docebo preferred), authoring tools, and virtual facilitation.
  • Strong grounding in adult learning principles and modern instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, highly organized, and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable learning solutions.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to use metrics and insights to inform decisions and improvements.
  • Forward-looking interest in applying AI to L&D to enhance learning design, automation, and measurement.
  • Power BI/data visualization experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms (Zoom, Teams).

Conditions

  • Hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.
  • Ideally based in NYC headquarters, but can be based in any U.S. office location.
  • Some domestic travel for in-person learning events; not expected to exceed 30%.
  • Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
  • Compensation includes benefits and bonus (in addition to base salary range).
