Summary

The General Manager (Head of Store) leads product, operations, and people to achieve store goals while ensuring excellent customer experience. This role drives performance through analysis, team leadership, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

  • Oversee management of all store sections to achieve sales targets by monitoring product display and execution.
  • Ensure product analysis is completed across sections (shortcomings, competition, trends) and implement actions to improve results.
  • Perform commercial analysis and execute initiatives to improve sales using business tools and reports.
  • Maintain continuous communication and feedback with central and country sales teams; monitor communication flow across departments.
  • Supervise warehouse stock management and merchandise flow, aligning with commercial criteria.
  • Organize and plan people and processes to meet company standards and productivity expectations.
  • Ensure store devices and technology operate properly to support a good shopping experience.
  • Monitor execution and compliance of omnichannel-related processes (SINT, IPOD, STORE MODE, CC).
  • Oversee implementation of new projects and operational/business upgrades.
  • Minimize shrinkage and coordinate action plans to address store needs.
  • Lead customer service standards and ensure incidents are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Supervise performance and development of store managers and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage labor hours budget; oversee scheduling to ensure coverage aligned to sales dynamics and workload.
  • Oversee onboarding, mandatory, and job training; build succession plans and develop talent.
  • Lead compliance with occupational risk prevention, health, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience as head of store or senior retail management role.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills with the ability to interpret store reports (product, operations, people) and implement improvements.
  • Ability to lead change and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Knowledge of fashion/product and ability to inspire teams.
  • Experience with omnichannel processes and retail technology operations.
  • Capability to manage scheduling, labor hours budgeting, training programs, and succession planning.
  • Focus on customer experience, operational compliance, and shrinkage control.

Conditions

  • Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 annual base plus discretionary bonus (converted to approximately $8,333–$10,833/month).
