What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale events and complex workstreams, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and vendors.
- Own event budgets and financial management to ensure transparency, prevent overruns, and maximize client value.
- Facilitate meetings, present event plans, and provide strategic consultation to clients and stakeholders.
- Drive cross-team communication and alignment on objectives, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Apply creative problem-solving to resolve issues across all event phases.
- Mentor and train junior team members to improve skills, efficiency, and execution quality.
- Monitor performance, evaluate risks, and implement solutions to meet or exceed goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of event management experience (preferably in the event industry).
- 2–3 years of experience leading and mentoring teams.
- Proven experience managing mid- to large-scale events (approximately 3,000–15,000+ attendees).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and negotiate effectively with vendors.
- Proficiency with technology tools, data analysis, and virtual event platforms.
- Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment; able to travel occasionally (~30%).
