Summary
Milwaukee Brewers is hiring a Videographer to capture and edit video content that supports the strategic and creative vision of the Club’s marketing department. The role blends content capture and post-production, with filming and editing responsibilities shifting based on seasonal priorities and project workload.
What you'll do
- Capture content in studio, on location, and in-game (game action and ballpark experience).
- Set up and operate camera, lighting, grip, and audio equipment for shoots.
- Use lighting, camera movement, composition, and other techniques to enhance storytelling.
- Prepare selects and b-roll packages after each shoot.
- Edit content across styles (high-energy hype, promotional, documentary storytelling).
- Edit, design, and mix audio.
- Color correct and grade footage.
- Collaborate with motion graphic designers to integrate animation and VFX.
- Curate music across multiple genres.
- Partner with the Director of Video, Senior Videographer Creative Lead, and Digital team on creative direction and timelines.
- Organize, catalog, and manage video equipment.
- Concept new ideas within the parameters of a creative brief.
- Log metadata and manage catalogs of digital footage and assets.
- Encode and share files for use across multiple platforms.
- Provide occasional schedule flexibility for game coverage support (generally adheres to a regular M–F schedule).
Requirements
- Relevant experience producing digital video content.
- Experience with current camera systems, grip equipment, and lighting equipment.
- Demonstrable filming and editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools (After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage high attention to detail across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to conceptualize ideas and execute them end-to-end.
- Ability to present creative ideas clearly and professionally.
- Ability to receive, respond to, and provide creative direction.
- Comfort working and excelling in a highly collaborative team environment.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 3–5 years of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: FAA Part 107 drone certification; motion graphics animation skills; 3D design and animation skills.
