Creator Marketing Manager

The Creator Marketing Manager leads the day-to-day execution and operational excellence of the club’s creator ecosystem, connecting strategy to consistent multi-platform delivery. The role ensures creator partnerships, social publishing, and community engagement run with structure, accuracy, and strong standards.

What you'll do

  • Own operational execution of creator and influencer partnerships across organic, gifted, and paid campaigns.
  • Build and maintain creator prospect lists, pipelines, and partnership trackers; support creator discovery and outreach.
  • Manage creator campaigns end-to-end: timelines, deliverables, posting requirements, contracts, approvals, and go-live accuracy.
  • Review and organize creator content to ensure brand guidelines, disclosure requirements, and contractual obligations are met.
  • Track creator performance and document learnings to inform future partnerships and long-term creator strategy.
  • Help own the master social content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Bluesky, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Translate social strategy into executable plans, timelines, and platform-specific publishing schedules in partnership with the Director of Social Content & Strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Social Coordinator to ensure clean day-to-day execution with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Partner with internal teams and NWSL teams to share trends, updates, and best practices.
  • Oversee community engagement across platforms (comments, DMs) and monitor audience sentiment.
  • Surface insights, FAQs, emerging narratives, and potential risks to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Identify opportunities to amplify community voices, supporter groups, UGC, and organic creator moments aligned with club values.
  • Track performance metrics across creator and social campaigns (engagement, reach, growth, content performance) and produce actionable reports.
  • Monitor platform updates, competitor activity, and trends; maintain relationships with platform account leads.
  • Work cross-functionally (Integrated Marketing, Partnerships/Revenue, Community Impact, Creative, Legal) to keep campaigns moving efficiently and compliantly.
  • Communicate workflows, approvals, and timelines; flag risks, delays, or compliance concerns early.
  • Manage and mentor the Senior Social Coordinator, setting execution standards and helping build scalable systems.
  • Attend all home games and travel as needed for events and games.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creator marketing (ideally sports, entertainment, lifestyle, culture-driven, or startup environments).
  • 2+ years of experience managing direct reports with a focus on mentorship and development.
  • Hands-on experience managing creator and influencer partnerships.
  • Proven experience managing multi-platform social operations with high accuracy and consistency.
  • Fluency with creator tools, social scheduling, and analytics (e.g., Sprout Social, CreatorIQ, Tribe, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, formatting, and publishing norms.
  • Strong understanding of soccer, particularly the NWSL (gameday events, statistics, football culture, player highlights).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through; comfort managing timelines, approvals, and dependencies.
  • Clear, proactive communication and collaborative working style.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent real-world experience.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; travel during the soccer season.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong online portfolio with examples of work.
  • Bonus: short-form video proficiency; familiarity with Asana and Slack; Adobe Creative Suite for light asset prep; bilingual (English/Spanish, Japanese, or Portuguese); understanding of SEO, social discoverability, and search-driven content strategy.
