Summary
Morgan & Morgan, the country’s largest personal injury law firm, is building a bold and culturally fluent social content engine. The Social Content Creator will develop social-first content that connects personal injury law with Gen Z culture across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. The role exists to drive engagement through high-impact, irreverent, trend-aware storytelling and production.
What you'll do
Create social-first creative assets for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts (short-form video, long-form video, still photography, and graphics).
Concept, shoot, edit, and produce content end-to-end, ranging from quick meme-style posts to elevated series and partnership-led moments.
Collaborate closely with the Social Lead to develop unexpected creative aligned with brand voice and cultural trends.
Capture and publish real-time content during live events, activations, and time-sensitive moments.
Develop recurring social series and scalable formats with consistent characters or structures.
Provide on-set direction and guide talent (lawyers, creators, partners) to deliver authentic performances.
Translate offline brand activations and stunts into culturally relevant social storytelling.
Travel up to 10% for activations and major moments.
Requirements
5–7 years of social media content creation experience (in-house or agency).
Proven track record creating social-first content that drives engagement and conversation.
Ability to own full production workflow: pre-production, capture, edit, post-production, and delivery.
Strong concepting instincts and idea generation (not only execution).
Deep understanding of platform nuance and social-first storytelling (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
Expert-level video editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or equivalent beyond template-based tools).
Strong shooting skills using professional camera equipment; experience with lighting, framing, and directing on-camera talent.
Graphic design for social assets is a plus.
Comedic, internet-fluent, irreverent tone; ability to work quickly and decisively in fast-moving cultural moments.
Self-starter with ownership mindset, strong taste, timing, and point of view.
Comfortable working on-site in NYC and shooting in-office and throughout the city.
Conditions
Location: on-site in NYC.
Travel: up to 10% for activations and major moments.
Compensation range listed: $90,000–$110,000 USD annually.
