Summary
UnitedMasters is a music distribution and marketplace platform connecting artists, brands, and fans to help independent creators earn, grow, and maintain ownership of their rights. The Artist Relations Manager builds and maintains relationships with partner artists, gathers product feedback, and helps shape offerings that support artist independence.
What you'll do
- Build, court, and maintain relationships with 80/20 Partner artists and other stakeholders to ensure they fully utilize UnitedMasters’ suite of offerings.
- Gather and synthesize artist feedback on product priorities.
- Identify underserved areas in current products and recommend feature solutions.
- Ideate future product features to drive artist independence and help define product requirements for the product roadmap.
- Communicate UnitedMasters’ value proposition clearly to the artist community.
- Partner with the Music Team to ensure seamless communication across the artist ecosystem in a unified brand voice, including building and iterating on scripts.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in marketing, relationship management, project management, customer success, or a related field.
- Experience in roles requiring coordination, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
- Ability to credibly communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to proactively build productive internal and external relationships.
- Ability to explain technical and business concepts and communicate development status/challenges across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex concepts.
- Innovative, curious, solutions-oriented mindset focused on improving workflows and finding value-added opportunities.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of trends and key stakeholders in the music business.
- Experience in the entertainment business.
Conditions
- Location: Brooklyn, New York.
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office and 1 day remote.
