Client Development Manager (NY SOHO Flagship Store, USA)
Summary
Ferrari Lifestyle is seeking a Client Development Manager to join its Soho boutique in New York, focused on positioning the brand as a fashion icon within the local market. The role manages and develops relationships with high-value clients (VIC/VIP) to elevate client experience, drive sales performance, and build long-term loyalty while supporting store leadership in achieving sales and KPI targets.
What you'll do
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and seasonal individual and store sales goals and contribute to overall business growth.
Build and manage relationships with VIC/VIP clients to enhance loyalty and repeat business.
Develop deep product knowledge and help elevate product knowledge among selling staff.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities through events, activations, collaborations, and external partnerships (e.g., luxury hotels, fine dining, fashion outlets, stylists).
Partner with corporate teams and store teams to design and implement strategies to attract, retain, and engage high-value clients.
Track and analyze performance of VIC initiatives and optimize tactics based on results.
Organize and manage high-end client events and experiences, ensuring seamless execution and brand alignment.
Apply the brand’s Selling Ceremony and service standards and maintain required service grading (85%).
Lead by example in client advising, listening to needs, and delivering tailored wardrobe recommendations.
Create a team culture of clienteling and relationship building to drive repeat business, consignment, and in-store activations.
Resolve customer service issues quickly and effectively.
Support store leadership with staff training across the selling experience and responsibilities tied to the role.
Execute register/POS functions as required.
Maintain organized stockroom/understock areas and support operational standards.
Ensure selling floor cleanliness, organization, and correct visual presentation.
Communicate product concerns and inventory needs to store leadership in a timely manner.
Ensure presentation and wardrobe standards are consistently professional and aligned with brand image; follow company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
Minimum 5 years of retail experience, including at least 3 years within the luxury segment.
Experience working with international brands (preferred/plus).
Customer-focused mindset with strategic business acumen and analytical skills.
Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
Keen awareness of current fashion trends and luxury fashion sensibility.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to meet deadlines and manage budget control.
Strong interpersonal skills; personable, curious, proactive, and service-oriented.
